But we know it will be something to look forward to. It's hard to speculate on what the new content will be. So, the game that broke the fourth wall in the most entertaining of fashions returns. They'd be happy just to have another run through it. There doesn't seem to be much more than that, but it's not like the admirers of this game would care. Obviously, we can expect to be presented with more decisions, another frustrated narrator - and probably quite a few laughs. That content already makes up the core of the game.

So how will The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe expand on the cult hit? According to the developers, the game will feature a complete injection of new content that will deliver new endings based on choices. However, the remarkable spoken narrative paired with decision-making creates possibly one of the most immersive experiences around. It's mechanically lacking, there's an absence of characters, and the level design is bland. I honestly can't wait to play the released version of it and I feel so privileged that I was able to try this version out, I mean, wow, the amount of new stuff they've put into this game just blows my mind.Those who have played The Stanley Parable will almost universally agree that it's a triumph of minimalist game design. Also, the screen menu is WAY better, you know the menu with the computer of a computer of a computer, well in the Ultra Deluxe, there's like a lot more animation going on and it's just a lot more polished and cool looking! (Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not sure this will be in the final game when it comes out, but it's interesting to know that the devs are thinking about that kind of extra detail.)Īnd then there were some, what I call, "character" endings, where you actually play through the game as a different character than Stanley. However, one of the office desks had a desk fan on it, you know one of those rotating desk fans? And it was sitting in off mode, stationary, but then on another restart it was on and rotating. For instance, there were some more dynamic items in the office to make the office seem more "alive" if you know what I mean? In the current game, there's only clocks really that move. It is just such an amazing game and there's a lot of crazy new developments in it. Amazingly, I got a chance to try out the new Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe last night in my sleep and I will tell you all this wow.
